Explore new, creative ways to pray.
"Readers of all ages, experience, and religions will find this a fresh, invigorating and even exhilarating way to spend time with themselves and their Creator.”
—Publisher’s Weekly, Starred Review
In 2007, Sybil MacBeth presented her long-time practice of "prayer doodling" to the world in her book, Praying in Color. A spark was lit.
Since then, more than 60,000 people have discovered her liberating approach to prayer in the moments when we just can't find the words, or when we are too overwhelmed or distracted to simply sit still and pray.
Other practices have followed, from praying with movement to knitting, beading, and crafting our prayers—all to show us that sometimes the best answer for weary, worn-out pray-ers is simply to get out of our heads.
