Paraclete Press offers ideas, wisdom, and beauty from authors, composers, and artists, drawing from Christian traditions through the centuries and from today, providing resources for those desiring wholeness through Christ. We are the publishing house of the Community of Jesus, a monastic, Christian community in the Benedictine tradition. Our products reflect the creative work of the Holy Spirit, elevate the Word, and proclaim the love of God.

Paraclete Press has over 40 employees, and most are members of the Community of Jesus. Visiting our company, you would meet vowed religious brothers and sisters, teenagers, young parents, artists, pastors, dancers, and musicians. Our youngest employee is 16 and our oldest recently turned 90.

Paraclete publishes about 40 books a year, and distributes the recordings of Gloriae Dei Cantores and the Monks of Solesmes, France. We also publish sheet music and an award-winning line of educational videos. Our sales department directly serves over 5,000 churches and 5,000 bookstores, and we distribute our books and music through Barnes & Noble, Borders, Amazon.com, and other major retailers.

We are located at the “elbow” of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Our building sits at the end of a winding dirt road, and is surrounded by trees and a grape vineyard.
