Author Bio

 John Henry Newman (1801–1890) was a poet, theologian, and one of the most significant religious figures of the 19th century. He was first an Anglican priest and founder of the Oxford Movement, and later became a Catholic priest and Cardinal. His autobiography Apologia Pro Vita Sua is one of the great Christian classics. His masterpiece, Apologia Pro Vita Sua, is considered one of the greatest Christian autobiographies of all time. He was canonized by Pope Francis in 2019, affirming his lasting impact on the Church.
