I long to be yours
God is within her, she will not fail. —Psalm 46:5a
A right relationship with God is not fear. Fear may be a mediocre tactic to shake people out of bad habits and get them interested in religion. Yet, mature religion is always based on intimacy with God, trust, and service. Jesus taught that God is even closer than a daddy. Prayer of the Day
Holy Spirit of Truth, show me the areas within myself where I am divided, where I am against you. By your grace, help me to turn those places over to you today, and to have the divisions in my heart healed. My Jesus, I long to be yours, only yours, wholly yours. Amen.
