October 17 Echoes of Eternity
Whosoever cometh to me and heareth my sayings, and doeth them . . . is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock.
Luke 6:47,48
My dear child, the Rock on which you build your hope must be Me alone. All other foundations and underpinnings will crumble and give way. You have not been aware of how false and weak some of your “underpinnings” are. I have assured you that I will not leave nor forsake you—yet you have so relied on these other foundations that panic replaced peace, and fear replaced faith. Do not waste these experiences. Do not repress the memory of them as you go on. It is My love and mercy that led you into and out of the circumstances, and My love and mercy will open new opportunities for you to reject the false foundations and choose this one firm Foundation—the
Rock of Ages. Repent and believe the Good News.
