Love my neighbor as myself

Love my neighbor as myself

Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and sustain in me a willing spirit. Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will return to you.Psalm 51:12–13

True leadings grow out of our love for God and God’s love for us and others.  If we choose life, then we also choose love.  We must be moved by and sensitive to love’s moving in us.  Love must be our initial inspiration. —J. Brent Bill, Sacred Compass

Prayer of the Day
Dear Jesus, you said that the second greatest commandment is to love my neighbor as myself. The truth is that I love myself so much that I find it difficult to love my neighbor at all. I am sorry for this, Lord. Please help me to love my neighbor with your love today. Amen.
