Feast of Boniface, Missionary & Martyr

Feast of Boniface, Missionary & Martyr

You are my God; be gracious to me, O Lord, for to you do I cry all day long. For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call on you. —Psalm 86:2b–5

Be in all things a God seeker and at all times a God finder, among all kinds of people and in all kinds of circumstances (Meister Eckhart). —Bridget Haase, osu, Doors to the Sacred

Prayer of the Day
Gracious Lord, after your resurrection you appeared to your disciples, and they were filled with joy. They stayed in the temple, waiting for the Holy Spirit to come. Boniface also waited patiently for the opportunity to return to Frisia. Help me, like them, to be content to wait for the leading of your Spirit today. Amen.
