Pentecost

Pentecost

I shall not die, but I shall live, and recount the deeds of the Lord. —Psalm 118:17

It is the tangible absence of the Savior and all his gifts that attracts the Holy Spirit. Therefore, come, Holy Spirit. You cannot find anything more barren, more stripped, more lacking, more abandoned, more feeble than my heart. —François Fénelon, The Complete Fénelon
