Take Courage

Take Courage

Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord. —Psalm 31:24

It is God for whom we are looking. Unhappiness is due not to a want of something outside of us, but to a want of something inside us. No wonder everything short of God disappoints us. (Fulton J. Sheen) Bridget Haase, osu, Doors to the Sacred

Prayer of the Day
Lord Jesus, In today's gospel, the Pharisees tried to trap you with your words. Your answer was to give Caesar what is his and give God what is his. Help me to give the proper attention to those outside claims while not neglecting your call on my life. Amen.
