Feast of Mary Magdalene

Feast of Mary Magdalene

I said, “O Lord, have mercy on me; heal me, for I have sinned against you.” —Psalm 41:4

The passionate, loving God is drawing people who were once far away from him, toward him. If you feel a need to connect with God, stop reading and ask him now. Simply pray something like this: God I need you. Forgive me for all my sins. I commit my life to you and ask you to make me one of your children forever. Amen. —Lon Allison, Billy Graham

Prayer of the Day
Gracious Savior, the love you showed Mary Magdalene at the tomb was gentle and tender. She first came to you in total need and you forgave her, and so her devotion to you was overflowing. Lord, you forgave me too. Help me to love you with overflowing devotion this week. Amen.
