May 25 Echoes of Eternity
How lovely is Thy dwelling place, O Lord of hosts! Blessed are they that dwell in Thy house; ever singing Thy praise.
Psalm 84:1,4 (rsv)
Beautiful for habitation is My dwelling place. Beautiful the peace which I have given. Why then, My child, do you not choose to dwell with Me in that beauty? Why turn aside so quickly to the “delights” of the world—a fascination with things that pass away and leave only dust and ashes? The time is here for you to heed more faithfully the gentle nudge and guidance of My Spirit when your mind is distracted
and drawn to these worldly concerns. The break in fellowship with Me is serious, and leaves you in greater danger than you realize. I have called you to a closer walk with Me, and this cannot become a reality until and unless you choose to fight—to recognize and resist the assault of the enemy of your soul. Do not exchange your birthright for a mess of pottage—mental junk!
