Flames of fire

Flames of fire

He makes winds his messengers and his servants flames of fire. —Psalm 104:4

God is the participatory reality in whom we live and move and have our being no matter if we’re in a prison cell, in an anchorite cell, on a mountain top, or in the shower. The furnace of intense belonging and awareness flows from within. Outward circumstances may affect that flow, but they can’t stop it. Amos Smith, Be Still and Listen

Prayer of the Day
Holy Lord, the Sadducees did not believe in the resurrection, and they tried to prove you wrong. But you are truly the God of the living. Are there places where I too am stubbornly in error? Lord, help me to see my disbelief and open my mind to your truth daily. Amen.
